From the consultation to the fitting and every appointments after that, the hair extension journey is unique to every single client. The health of your natural hair is so damn important, it is assessed at every visit.

CONSULTATION
Before any prices can be quoted and the fitting appointment can be booked, all clients must have a face-to-face consultation. Consultations are an incredibly important part of your hair extension journey. It is a time where I am able to walk through every method/amount/length/colour suitable for you after I have assessed your hair.
I do not just look at your hair and put a colour swatch up against it - your hair's strength, durability and flexibility are assessed.
Hair extensions are not a "one size fits all" or "one method for everyone" type of product. Many factors are considered when determining what method is best, what hair type suits your hair, and what length or thickness you should have. I look at your natural hair type, its thickness and length before extensions, what your life style consists of, what look you would like to achieve, your budget, how often you can come for maintenance appointments etc.
All of these inform me of the best methods for you, the appropriate amount of hair you need and the longest length your hair is able to hold.
I use over 50 different colours to create a perfect colour match for your hair. Every consultation is different and every single one is personalised.
FITTING
NEW HAIR. NEW YOU
Every fitting appointment, whether it is your first ever hair extension fitting or your 10th, this is the appointment where you have your hair transformation!
The hair that was colour-matched to you at your consultation will be shown to you prior to fitting it. Your hair is then sectioned, and the extensions are fitted by Kellie who is fully qualified in all the methods offered at KH Hair Extensions.
Once all the hair is fitted, the extensions will be cut, blended and styled to give the finished look!
MAINTENANCE
The frequency of your maintenance depends on many factors - i.e. the type of method, the amount of hair you have fitted, the rate your natural hair grows, what your lifestyle consists of etc.
Regardless of the method you have fitted, every row/tape is removed and the natural shedding of your hair is then brushed out - this can be quite a lot of hair as on average a person loses 100-150 strands of natural hair a day. The extensions are then refitted.
Depending on how long you have left it between appointments, will depend on the cost of the appointment. This is because the longer the time in between appointments, the more work is required.
Additionally, the amount of extensions you have (rows/tapes), will also alter the price of maintenance appointments.
